We never thought of Victoria Beckham as a circus fan – up until now. The designer has given us a private guide of their circus-inspired resort 2016-collection (due in stores in November) for their diffusion line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham (or VVB to Mrs. B and her team – they travel from the tongue a bit easier) to their business on Dover Street.
This resort 2016 season for Victoria Victoria Beckham is the first to integrate the designer jeans line. An infusion, which says Beckham “naturally happens.” The VVB line has been mainly a collection of beautiful dresses: “we had were concentrating on dresses, so it’s great to jeans and shirt fabrics, [to] may have.” The move into the mix of the two lines, which both have experienced growth in the past year, says also Managing Director of the company makes business sense Zach in the meantime, Duane.
Added bonus: a surprise from David to visit. In a flat Cap. What will you ask more from a fashion appointment?
“I wanted to offer the collection the versatility,” Victoria says of the collection. “I travel a lot and do so, my customers – with this beyond of my wardrobe, it is important that the things light and portable and fun.”
Explains that the illustrated prints and swirling lines of the seams and Scalloped edges of the aesthetics of the Victorian circuses were inspired, the designer told us that it has decided to integrate their Victoria Beckham denim jeans series in the collection.
Equipped with luxurious, high-tech fabrics, including paper taffeta and Duchesse satin, Victoria told us that she and the team had spent much time, the perfecting of the Oriental-inspired floral prints, featured on textured Jacquard pieces.
The collection includes among other gems, the perfect chestnut white top with Couture-inspired sculptural sleeves, ankle grazing jeans with Crystal flowers ornaments (“we call them really ‘Flower jeans’ probably be original”, joked the Designer) and fat colored dresses with graphic scalloped trims.
So, if to bring them to a piece of what would it be? “The black Duchesse satin jacket with sculptural cone – could you wear it so many different ways.”
Our personal fave? The pale coral Gaberdine wool skirt with huge black leather floral embellishments – with poppers attached so that you can of course easily, chemically.
