With the arrival of summer, I tend to take more brightly. Pink, orange, red, purple… you call it! Flat Out fabulous MAC is perfect for the spring and summer. It is described as ‘cache bright plum’ and has a bright fuchsia color.
Flat Out fabulous is a retro mast. This retro formula of mat is not as dry as Ruby Woo retro matte formula. Flat Out fabulous applies relatively easy on the lips, but it goes better with a lip balm on. The fuchsia color pigment is almost opaque on my lips. I say almost opaque, because I needed three layers to hide my top lip pigment. Even then, I noticed the color of my upper lip that shines through (but maybe) I’m picky right here a little. You can use a pencil of the same color to make truly opaque color. Flat Out Fabulous has the typical vanilla scent and it feels really dry on the lips, but it is not moisturize your lips as well. Little of it feels as if you’ re wearing nothing, but it is up to you if you like it. I apply lip balm to smooth out a little.
On my lips fabulous Flat Out lasts approximately 5/6 hours. It is quite long, even after dinner. It disappears a little when you drink or eat, but you left with a beautiful task. As with the mattes retro you notice it must crumble after a few hours. In this case, I delete everything and reapply the fabulous Flat Out.
Flat Out fabulous MAC looks bright and vivid on my lips that really reminds me of the summer. The color could be more pigmented in my opinion and less dry formula, but this is what you get with the retro mattes. There is not long enough on the lips and fabulous Flat Out leaves a pinkish spot after eating. I can imagine other are trademarks have similar lip-colors which are less drying, so I would not say this is a must have color. I love the color and it looks great on different kinds of skin tones; the fair in the dark.
